The Corona pandemic has shown: play and exercise areas are indispensable! We want to celebrate children as the unsung heroes during the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite being unable to play outside with their friends and experiencing immense changes in their daily routine, we have seen an abundance of creativity and a thirst for learning. Parents and carers have risen to the challenge of home-schooling too, from teaching algebra to the Tudors, none of which are an easy task.

We have seen so much joy and community spirit during lockdown, but we have also experienced the occasional day of feeling down hearted and blue. Social interaction stopped, days out with the kids and family were cancelled and the pandemic felt never ending.

It’s very common when you’re feeling the down to feel sluggish and demotivated and physical exercise can be the last thing you feel like doing.
